Education is important for the upbringing and overall development of a person however, today education is not limited to the overall development. Today is the era of career oriented education; almost every child is asked his ambition in life or what would be his career choice as an adult?

Since Childhood, training is acquired to pursue education in the field he or his parents thinks he should fit in and since then the race for career oriented education begins.  Institutions offering career oriented courses are on sudden hype. All the institutes have bucked up and pulled their socks in order to offer student’s different career oriented courses.

The era of just basic curriculum is left far behind and people are moving from common elective courses like Computers, Publishing, Athletics, Foreign language to professional electives like Advanced Placement (AP) or International Baccalaureate (IB) courses. The AP and IB format has more demand for further education than the common elective courses. The academics are however difficult than the common electives. Similarly to acquire a bachelor’s degree the common electives are Bachelor of Arts (B.A), Bachelor of Science (B.S.), Bachelor of Fine Arts (B.F.A.), Bachelor of Social Work (B.S.W.), Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.,) or Bachelor of Philosophy (B.Phil.) however students more or less fall for professional courses like law, medicine, pharmacy, and dentistry. Training is a must for a person to acquire the desired goals however while acquiring training, putting efforts and working hard to achieve your goals, one should always remember the basic principles taught in pre-school and elementary schools that forms the crux of your life.
