GEORGE HERBERT

George Herbert is one of our great hymn writers. He lived through dramatic times in English history. Although he died at the age of 40 he lived through the reigns of three monarchs – Elizabeth I (1558-1603), James I (1603.1625) and Charles I (1625-1649). Contemporaries of Herbert’s were the explorer and circum-navigator of the globe, Sir Francis Drake, John Hawkins, the first English slave-trader and William Shakespeare. It was an age when Britain was developing into a great sea power. Drake’s daring voyages to the little known West Indies opened the way to the treasures to be had from the New World. The great European powers of the time were England, France and Spain. Socially it was a period when the plague visited Britain, followed by famine. The population was heavily taxed to finance the war with Spain. Henry VIII had dissolved the monasteries, many of which deserved their fate. However, the ministry to the poor carried out by the better ones collapsed. Thus a compulsory Poor Tax was imposed in 1597 and well-known institutions were founded – such as Christ Hospital for the education of boys, St. Thomas’ and St. Bartholomew’s Hospitals for the sick, and Bethlehem (later Bedlam) for the care of the insane. Yet England was full of vagabonds and tramps, travel was not really safe without escort. It was the age of alchemy. Originating independently in Egypt and China, it remained for 1,500 years a legitimate branch of science and philosophy.

This then was the world into which George Herbert was born on the 3rd of April 1593 in Montgomery, Wales. He was one of ten children. After the death of his father his mother raised the children alone. Mrs. Herbert was patron to the Rev’d. John Donne (1571-1631), the ‘passionate Dean’ of St. Paul’s, London.

George Herbert was educated at Westminster School and Trinity College, Cambridge. He wrote circular verse and sonnets as well as religious composition. He was elected a major Fellow of Trinity, was Reader in Rhetoric at Cambridge and was a public orator. He was elected to represent Montgomery in parliament in 1624-1625. His mother died in 1627 and John Donne gave the funeral oration. Two years later Herbert married Jane Denvers. The following year he gave up his secular ambitions and took holy orders, becaming Rector of Bermerton by Salisbury. He wrote a great deal and succeeded in rebuilding his church, funding the work partly himself. He helped the poor, becoming known as ‘Holy Mr. Herbert’ until his death in 1633 from tuberculosis. He is commemorated in the Anglican calendar on 27th February. Some of his best-known hymns are: King of Glory, King of Peace, Let all the world and Teach me my God and King

ISAAC WATTS

Our second great hymn writer chronologiocally is Isaac Watts. It had never occurred to me that the writer of such well known hymns in our Anglican hymnals as ’O God our help in ages past’, ‘Joy to the world’, ‘When I survey the wondrous cross’ and ‘Jesus shall reign’ could not have been an Anglican. However, an article in the Vienna magazine ‘Crossways’ has shown me to be mistaken.

He was a prolific hymn writer from an early age, and has some 750 hymns to his name. His propensity for rhyming almost drove his parents to distraction during his childhood years. Watts was born in Southampton in the home of a firm non-conformist. He attended King Edward the VI School where he studied classical languages. Because of his nonconformity entry to Oxford or Cambridge was barred. Thus he became a student at the Dissenting Academy at Stoke Newington in 1690.

He later became the pastor to a large independent chapel in London. He also worked as a private tutor, living with the Hartopp family at Fleetwood House and later with the family of the Lord Mayor of London, Sir Thomas Abney. Sir Thomas, although a Dissenter, showed a certain openness towards the Church of England. Watts himself adopted a more interdenominational attitude towards religious belief than was normal for Dissenters of his period.

His textbook on Logic, published in 1724, became the standard work on the subject at Oxford, Cambridge, Yale and Harvard for over 100 years. He died in 1748 in Stoke Newington and was buried in the Dissenting Cemetery at Bunhill Fields. His papers were given to Yale University which was largely a Dissenting foundation. He is commemorated in the Church of England Calendar on the 25th of November.

Watts lived in a turbulent period. He lived through the reigns of six kings from the Restoration to the the Hanoverian George II. The Book of Common Prayer, banned under Cromwell, was reintroduced (in almost the form we know it) in 1662. The Declaration of Indulgence allowed Protestant dissenters to worship openly again. He was born just after the Plague and the Great Fire of 1666. Thus Sir Christopher Wren was rebuilding St. Paul’s during his lifetime. During these years the Union of England and Scotland was achieved. A dark chapter of these years was the massacre at Glencoe and the crushing of the Jacobite Rebellion of 1715 and 1745. A number of important charitable movements though also took form during these years. By the time of his death witches were no longer burned

CHARLES WESLEY

Charles Wesley was born on the 18th December 1707 in Epworth, Lincolnshire – the 18th (and last) child of the Rev’d. Samuel and Susanna Wesley. He was first educated at home by his parents, and later at Westminster School. He went on to Oxford with a Westminster scholarship. While at Oxford he and his brother John formed the Oxford Holy Club in 1729 for the purposes of worship and visiting the sick and those in prison. Its members received the nickname of ‘Methodists’. It was at this time that his lasting friendship with George Whitfield began. Charles was made Deacon in the Church of England in 1735. In this same year he, accompanied by his brother John, made his first voyage to the colony of Georgia as part of the entourage of the governor, George Oglethorpe. He returned to England the following year as a result of poor health. His brothers, John and Samuel the Younger, were also ordained as priests of the Church of England.

Charles and John together are considered to be the founders of Methodism, although they did not always agree. In particular Charles was strongly opposed to any breach with the Church of England. Just before his death he sent for the Rector of St. Marylebone Parish Church, in which parish he lived, and said to him, “Sir, whatever the world may say of me, I have lived, and I die, a member of the Church of England. I pray you bury me in your churchyard.” On his death, his coffin was carried to the church by eight clergymen of the Church of England. In 1749 he married Sarah Gwynne. She was much younger than Charles. They had eight children together of whom only three sons survived infancy. Sarah accompanied Charles and John on their preaching tours throughout Britain until Charles ceased to travel in 1765. In the course of his life Charles wrote the words for over 7,000 hymns. 5,500 of these he published during his lifetime. It is sometimes said that these hymns had as much impact on the mission of the two brothers as the preaching of John. Many of these hymns are still commonly sung today. They include: And can it be that I should gain?; Christ the Lord is risen today; Christ whose glory fills the skies; Come, Thou long-expected Jesus; Hail! The day that sees him rise; Hark the herald angels sing; Jesu, Lover of my soul; Lo! He comes with clouds descending; O for a thousand tongues to sing; Rejoice, the Lord is King; Soldiers of Christ, arise; Jesus, from whom all blessings flow; Come, Holy Ghost our hearts inspire; Forth in Thy name O Lord.

Here’s To Your Wealth! Comparative Costs of Private and Public Health Systems
Part 3 of a 3-Part Series

Everything comes with a cost and health care is no exception. But which type of health care model costs the most – the universal public type or the for-profit private system? The answer depends on the source and perhaps what political stripes that source wears.

While President Obama’s camp continues to promote the public option and what they say will be a lower overall cost to consumers, many conservative politicians and talk show hosts have, of course, campaigned hard to make the opposite seem true. Their take is that industrialized nations with universal public health care pay far more per capita for sub-standard services compared to their US counterpart.

It’s easy to accept without question, this latter position as fact, particularly if you buy-into another popular view that suggests everything and anything the government administers suffers from waste, inefficiency, ineffectiveness and bloated costs. Let’s face it, you don’t have to look very far to find examples of poor public governance. (Does anyone remember stories about a certain stars-and-stripes military outfit paying 0 for hammers and hundreds more for toilets?)

Is Public Sector Governance Necessarily Bad?
What some people seem far too eager to ignore is the fact that given proper governance, a publicly administered system providing an essential service has an important advantage. That advantage is a missing link of sorts. The ‘chain’ of service provision has many various links that make up the total cost of providing that service. Consider that the profit link is often one of the biggest links in the chain. Somewhere along the line, that profit link will necessarily impact the total cost of providing the service as well as the amount of investment that’s diverted back into the system.

Therefore, in operating a for-profit health care system, regardless of whether the gross profit margin is ten or thirty per cent, at some point along the way a markup must occur to generate the extra revenue needed to feed that profit. A properly managed public health care system need not implement markups. In theory, then, the taxpayer isn’t overcharged just in order to meet the profit margin goal. Does it actually work that way? Just as with other aspects of the public vs. private health care debate, there are both success and horror stories on each side.

Are Canadian Patients Dissatisfied With Their Health Care System?
So much of the chatter we hear today slams the inefficiency and overboard costs of Canada’s health care system. But consider that for each story from a Canadian patient who experienced mediocre treatment or long delays, there are far more success stories from patients who are sincerely happy with their treatment and who wouldn’t trade their system for the world.

Take, for instance, the case of a woman from Windsor, Ontario, whose story was revealed this past summer in an article in a Florida newspaper, the St. Petersburg Times. This Canadian patient was billed a grand total of .95 after having been in hospital for over two months. Her friend who lives across the river in Michigan spent two or three days in hospital and was billed over ,000. Those are some real numbers to chew on.

So, what are the rest of the numbers, vis-à-vis the comparative costs of Canadian and American health systems? More on that in a bit, but first consider the example of education. Education is one of the untouchables; a cornerstone of most wealthy nations. It’s one of those essential services. The quality of a nation’s education determines, to a great extent, that nation’s future prosperity. Most kids go to public school and most of those parents would never consider scrapping their district’s public system in favor of a for-profit pay-as-you-go private system.

Public Education is in a Shambles, Right?

Education has for long been as politicized as health care has lately become. Pour the education facts through a political filter and you get a skewed take. Just as with the health care debate, those on the right champion the superiority of private schools, citing lower costs per student and higher test scores. They would also have us believe that public education costs are far more expensive per student compared with that of private school. Both of these ideas are easily challenged.

A widely accepted figure pegs the average cost per student for public education systems nationwide at under ,000. Comparatively, according to the National Association of Independent Schools, an organization comprised of private schools, the average cost of annual private school tuition per school-aged child is over ,000. Reports about this seem to be easily overlooked by those wishing to cash-in on the profit potential of the education business.

But isn’t the quality of education better at most of those private schools as compared to the much more heavily attended public schools? Private schools’ high teacher-to-student ratio and their more selective community are features that are hard to deny. However we hear little about the fact that public education systems must follow a host of state and federal laws and guidelines; many of which the private schools need not and do not observe.

Further bolstering the argument was a study out of Washington released in October, 2007, confirming that 12th-grade private and parochial school students had matching scores in core academic subjects when compared to their public school counterparts with similar family and income backgrounds. Other more recent studies by the University of Illinois showed that public school students actually outperformed their private school counterparts in standardized math tests.

Universal Public Education is a Sacred Cow; Why Isn’t Health Care?

It can therefore be easily argued that a service as essential as education can and is provided both efficiently and effectively by the public sector. Why, then, are so many opposed to the same idea with health care; another service that’s just as essential?

It’s Not a Free-For-All in Canada
First of all, don’t think that every aspect of health care is included in the package. The government does not pay for most Canadians’ prescription medicines. Just like the American experience, most Canadian prescriptions are paid for by way of employment benefits packages or it’s a self-pay deal. (But the Canadian government does cover prescription costs during in-hospital treatment and for patients in certain income and age brackets.) Another thing that most Canadians pay for is just about any surgery that is elective and not medically necessary. So that face-lift, laser scar removal or tummy tuck – well – you’re on your own. The same applies when it comes to dentistry, orthodontics, optometry and eyewear, chiropractic care, and other medical areas that fall outside traditional physician-provided necessary care; for the most part, Canadian patients or their employer insurance carriers pay for these services and treatments. These things are generally not coming out of the public purse.

The Canadian medicare system covers, in full and without question, all necessary visits to family physicians and specialists, all necessary medical tests, and all necessary hospital stays. Quite simply that means no bill and no nasty surprise.

What are the specific costs north of the border?
According a report by the Canadian Institute for Health Spending, in 2008 health care spending in Canada was just over 0 billion. That covers all aspects of costs and comes out to ,170 per person. Which nation boasts the highest spending? Spending in the US is now over ,000 per person annually. A recent analysis in Memphis Tennessee’s Commercial Appeal newspaper showed that the average American needs to work through the months of January, February and March just to pay for his or her share of the health care bill.

How does the old axiom about statistics go? Liars figure and figures lie. Yes, it’s easy to skew the truth with statistics, but it’s hard to argue with bottom-line costs from trusted sources and the real-life experiences of real people.

Regardless of whether you sit on the left, the right or on the fence itself, there’s no denying one more fact. Since universal medicare was legislated in Canada by Tommy Douglas in 1961, Canadian patients have not had to worry about losing their homes, going bankrupt or plundering their retirement savings as a result of the cost of treating a major illness or disease.

Ask any Canadian and they’ll tell you that knowing they’ll always be covered is peace of mind; which, in itself, is quite therapeutic.

The Metaphysical View of Death and Life After Death Part 10

Astral projection is an occult art that was commonly practiced by ancient mystics. Apollonius of Tyana, Yeheshuah (Jesus Christ) and many other mystics often used the ability in their ministry and work. In centuries past and up to this very day, Wicca, or the tradition of witchcraft, teaches its adherents the secrets of astral projection. The superstition that witches rode on broomsticks to their covens actually stems upon the fact that witches were adepts in the art of astral projection and astral travelling. The art of astral projection was kept secret throughout the centuries until the inception and commencement of parapsychological research in the previous century by reputable and eminent scientists. What was once shrouded in mystery and transmitted secretly to initiates, are now being rediscovered or taught openly to the public through the mass media.

This occurred because early parapsychological findings paved a way for the revelation of such arcane knowledge. People were made ready for the knowledge and power that occultism had to confer. In contemporary times, Carl Jung, the great psychoanalyst, experienced many OBEs and commented on the “absolute objectivity” of his experiences. Other famous persons who had OBEs were among others, St. Augustine, Goethe, Plato, Aristotle, Wordsworth, Alfred Tennyson, and Ernest Hemingway.

Astral projection, like NDEs, is one of the ways that an individual may prove to him or herself of the truth of the survival of consciousness at the time of transition–that the self, the personal consciousness may function independently of the physical brain and organism. Death is no longer feared, and in a sense, may be said to be “eradicated” once a single astral projection is experienced and apprehended.

Hypnotic-Regression of the Soul

Hypnotism has come a long way since the days of Anton Mesmer and his concept of “animal magnetism.” It has passed through many changes of techniques and used for various purposes such as entertainment, self-improvement and healing. Certain principles or tools of psycho-transformation such as affirmation, or “subtle suggestion” are linked to the Mesmeric tradition. In recent years hypnotherapy, or hypnotism used as a therapeutical tool, commenced a new line of probing into the depths of the human psyche. This occurred when certain individuals had spontaneous recollection of their past-lives. If hypnotism could be used to stir and dig up the memory of the present life, could it not also be used to probe deeper into the memory of the psyche to acquire information of a life lived in a past identity or incarnation? This question asked by experts in hypnosis was based on the concept of reincarnation. The underlying premise was that if reincarnation were true, the results of deeper probings into the psyche would offer clues as to its reality. In this section we will not discuss the results of such findings, suffice to say that many case studies of soul-regression into past lives were found to be plausible and later discovered through research to actually be historically-based. What we will consider briefly here are the findings of soul-regression through hypnosis–in the theta-state-pertaining to soul-memory of the transition state and the life beyond the Great Change. This field of study and investigation is just another logical step from the previous probings into past life experiences.

Our main (and only) source of information concerning this subject is derived from Michael Newton. After investigating the matter for several years along the lines that we have delineated above, he published his findings in the Journey of Souls. One of his main discoveries is that not all souls are of the same spiritual age; that souls may be classified as to their soul-age or evolutionary status. This spiritual principle is actually the origin of the caste system formed in ancient India. Broadly speaking, souls of the same class or spiritual age usually conform to a certain set of experiences during transition and in their “placement” which souls of a higher class usually bypass or do not normally undergo. This corresponds to the general idea of Bardo experiences where one may liberate oneself at any stage, relinquishing the need to experience the following phases–and this usually conforms with soul age and experience. Newton discovered that there was a “homogeneity of experience” among his subjects in the transitional experience, especially when it progressed through further stages.

Subjects of soul-regression declare that after the initial surprise of being alive during and after transition with its concomitant deathbed visions, a certain white light emerges and attracts their attention. This stage is often accompanied by divine music. From the point of view of Tibetan metaphysics, this white light is none other than the Clear Light of the Void manifesting in the secondary stage of Chikai. Ignorant of what is to be accomplished at this stage, some of the subjects of Newton simply passed on to another stage of the bardo where the judgment or the “tunnel effect” was experienced. Some report of having hovered over the dead body for several days because of confusion, anger or bewilderment. This usually occurs to those who were killed or murdered unexpectedly. We may equate this experience with the latter part of the Chonyid or Sidpa bardo.

Almost all subjects of deathbed visions describe the “tunnel-effect” where one feels oneself travelling through a long dark tunnel to an uncertain destination represented by a point of light at the distance. This light gets closer and closer as one approaches its source. In occultism, this light is actually the light of the astral realms and should not be confused with the Clear White Light of the Bardo, which is essentially a state of illumination. The tunnel-effect is an experience of the crossing of the veil that separates the physical from the astral regions. It is a “movement” into a different dimension, a birthing into a higher world. After the tunnel effect, and while still being a little disoriented, subjects report on experiencing vibrations of love, comfort and companionship emanating from what they later discovered to be a reception committee comprising of close friends, relatives and their personal, spiritual guide. This “reception committee” Newton found, is always planned well in advance of the soul’s transition by the soul’s personal and spiritual guide to assist it in adjusting to new conditions. Advance souls; however, according to certain case studies, go through the white light experience and the tunnel-effect very quickly. Most of these souls often go straight to their destined realm without undergoing the preliminary stages of meeting with loved ones. Newton believes that these souls do not require the comfort and solace from other beings that young souls usually crave for. After adjusting to the vibratory condition of the astral realm, Newton’s subjects marvel at the remarkable sight awaiting them, and they are usually at a loss for words. Newton comments on this:

“I enjoy hearing from subjects about the first images of the spirit world. People may see fields of wildflowers, castle towers rising in the distance, or rainbows under an open sky . . .” (1995:24)

And he continues:

“Regardless of their state of mind right after death, my subjects are full of exclamations about discovering marvels of the spirit world. Usually, this feeling is combined with euphoria that all their worldly cares have been left behind, especially physical pain.” (1995:25)

After meeting beloved ones, most souls are brought to special places designed to heal past traumatic experiences. In these healing centers subjects describe themselves as being bathed in swirling light. Those who are seriously damaged in a psychological way, and who possess negative, or evil tendencies, are brought to rehabilitation centers by their guides and secluded for a period of time.

After the required healing, souls are sent to the realm corresponding to their spiritual attainment. This is described in the Journey of Souls as “placement.” Subjects describe riding on a beam of light, a current of energy, to their destination whether it be in the upper astral or the lower mental. In placements, souls are brought to their spiritual group comprising of individuals of a similar evolutionary status, and they normally do not wander form their group to join other associations. According to Newton’s subjects, in the subtle spheres, the age of the soul manifests in a certain colour or hue in their aura; these souls of a certain evolutionary status (colour) congregate together to form their spiritual group, which is presided or directed by a higher soul functioning as guide and teacher. In these groups discussions take place concerning experiences in the newly-terminated life. The discussions that take place are not unlike the group discussions that occur in a psychotherapeutical meeting where one’s attitudes, motives and feelings for a certain action are analyzed and where one’s behavioral pattern or habit is rationalized by the psychotherapist, or others within the group. The spirit world, as we can see from this, is a time for evaluation, assimilation, and analysis. According to subjects, some of the activities that souls engage in are research and study in libraries or spiritual work undertaken at the direction of their spiritual guides. Similar to the teachings of the Occult Tradition, the case studies of Newton indicates an active life in the higher planes where one may study the various fine arts and sciences or express one’s creativity in the art of mental creation, or alchemical precipitation. In the heavenly worlds a soul must learn how to utilize the mental and psychic faculties effectively in order to accomplish creative works.

In these fraternal groups of the astral regions, plans are also made for new challenges in the physical world through incarnation. Sometimes agreements are formed between members of these group-minds to incarnate together to carry-out certain tasks or for certain experiences beneficial to soul-growth. For instance, the marriage-made-in-heaven concept is actually formed by souls in the higher worlds who are karmically connected or spiritually related. Choosing a soul-entity to be one’s earth marriage partner is done out of free-will as is the choice to reincarnate–though within the bounds of karma. These chosen partners may or may not come from the same group; however, as it all depends on the lessons that the soul wishes to learn. Before incarnating, these married-couples-to-be formulate certain signs that they would have to look for or to be aware of in the circumstances of their physical plane meeting and in each other to realize the soul-agreement existing between them and that they are, in fact, “soul-mates.”

These signs are not usually known or remembered on the conscious level. It is triggered into conscious knowing and feeling from the subconscious mind level through the actual manifestation of those signs on the physical plane. Although gender manifests universally in the physical plane, souls are described by Newton’s subjects to be androgynous and manifests in the male or female form in the astral worlds out of preference. Lacking any permanent sexual form, it is thus possible for a soul-entity to embody in the physical world as a male or a female human being.

In contradistinction to “placement,” some soul-entities are “displaced.” Newton describes them in the following:

“There are two types of displaced souls: those who do not accept the fact their physical body is dead and fight returning to the spirit world for reasons of personal anguish, and those souls who have been subverted by, or had complicity with, criminal abnormalities in a human body.” (1995:45)

Indeed, this is an interesting subject, we will therefore discuss this briefly. Paranormal researchers have found that some souls are not aware of their transition. This is usually the result of violent deaths where the permanent atoms are expelled from the physical form simultaneously causing consciousness, or self-awareness to be retained throughout the experience. One of the reasons that makes it so difficult for such souls to accept their condition is that they feel their astral form to be no different from the physical–that, in fact, it feels solid and very much alive. Another reason is that they are unattended and ungreeted by those on the Otherside to give comfort, solace and appropriate information. As a result, these souls become confused, frustrated and “lost.” These souls are trapped in time and space and sustain their entrapment in the physical plane because of their ignorance. In spiritualism, these are called “earthbound spirits.” The motion-picture “Ghost” and many others illustrate this earthbound condition. Only after certain discoveries–at times with the aid of spiritual guides–do these earthbound spirits discover their position and condition. At times the help of guides are rejected thus prolonging the soul’s earthbound condition. Such souls usually bind themselves to a certain geographical location. They often seek contact with three-dimensional physical beings, thus commencing and producing a “haunting” condition.

They usually live in darkness–their field of vision being murky–they are, therefore, attracted to any coloured illuminations that might appear in their vicinity. Not understanding the nature of these illuminations or lights–which are actually the aura of living beings–they tend to merge or attach themselves with it. They often find themselves trapped in people’s auras. Unknowingly they may reach into such depths as to consider the physical body of their victim as their own and the original tenant as the victimizing spirit. This is technically called “possession,” and causes much needless suffering to both parties involved. Possessions of this non-intentional, non-demonic variety may be exorcised effectively and morally only through helping both possessor and the possessed. In this method, the earthbound soul is given information and advice as to the nature of its plight and the way out to freedom. In this manner both sides involved in the possession are liberated. In this psychological counseling, the earthbound soul is made to realize that it belongs to another dimension; the simple awareness of this truth on the part of the invading spirit is sufficient enough to release it from its bondage and entrapment between worlds. Generally speaking, calls for help–and acceptance of such help, together with a release of desires and attachment to familiar surroundings of the earth plane on the part of the earthbound soul, gradually and automatically raises its vibration and moves it on into the astral world where it may find its placement and once again interact and relate with others of its kind.

The methods for exorcising demonic possessions are a little different from the above method where the principles of psychology are used to advise the victimizer. The so-called “demons” in such possessions are most often human souls with very negative and violent propensities. Such earthbound spirits are usually attracted to others of similar temperament, idiosyncrasies, habits and desires. They often seek to satiate their own earthly desires through a human channel. These souls are often stubborn, arrogant, and malevolent. Spiritual advise given to them in any way is often ridiculed and rejected. It such cases, assuming a wrathful and authoritative attitude with a definite command directed to them often helps to extirpate these entities. There is a principle that assists in this rite of exorcism–in expelling demonic beings from their human victims that psychic researchers have discovered: these negative beings are intensely afraid of pure radiant light, especially the pure light within the aura of pure and holy persons. Aside from the natural light-radiance of holy beings, in experiments it was discovered that visualized white light was equally effective. This light is visualized by the exorcist surrounding everyone present involved in the exorcism, especially the victim. Evidently, radiant white light causes some pain to these beings with demonic natures. Such luminescence is therefore avoided by them and causes their hasty retreat. When circumstances permit, these negative souls are brought to special places in the astral realm by their spiritual guides for rehabilitation. These places may be thought of as “hell” by its inhabitants. They are not there for eternity, though. They either progress from there to purgatory or incarnate once again in the three-dimensional world. In the end, all earthbound souls must submit to their rightful placement. In should be understood that in most cases of possessions the underlying cause is not by invading entities or malicious thoughtforms but by the assertion or projection of a personality (perhaps from a past life) from the subconscious. In psychiatry this is called schizophrenia.

Souls are sometimes earthbound because of their attachment to their relatives or friends. There are times when these earthbound souls contact earthlings through a medium. Usually they bring an important message which they feel themselves obliged to pass on to relatives or to certain individuals. This then may be a cause of their earthbound condition, or in other cases, they seek to enlighten humanity concerning life after death. It should be noted here that not all communications through mediums are from disembodied human souls. Some of the communicating beings are in fact elemental spirits, elementary beings, astral shells or even the medium’s own subconscious mind–all mischievously deceiving ignorant humans. But nevertheless, sifting the information derived from communicating spirits through mediums, from the reliable to the questionable, psychic researcher Ernesto Bozzano states the following principles as affirmed by spiritualistic communicators (cf “Life, Death & Consciousness”):

“1) That all of them found themselves in human form in the spiritual world.

“2) That for some time, or even for a long period of time, they did not realize they were dead.

“3) That during the pre-death crisis, or even a little after, they passed through the trial of summarily recalling all the events of their existence (`panoramic vision’ or `epilogue of death’).

“4) That in the spiritual world they were welcomed by the spirits of their relatives and friends.

“5) That nearly all of them passed through a more or less lengthy phase of reparatory sleep.

“6) That they nearly eventually found themselves in a radiant and marvelous spiritual environment (in the case of morally normal deceased), or in a shadowy and oppressive environment (in the case of morally depraved deceased).

“7) That they had found the spiritual environment to be a new world that was objective, substantial and real, a spiritualized version of the earthly environment. During the separation of the astral from the physical body, it first assumes a cloudy nature which slowly assumes the shape of a physical body.

“8) That they had learnt that this was due to the fact that thought was a creative force in the spiritual world and thus enabled a spirit living in the astral plane to reproduce around himself the environment of his memories.

“9) That it had not taken them long to learn that thought transmission was the language of spirits, even though newly arrived spirits delude themselves that they converse by means of words.

“10) That they had found that the faculty of spiritual vision enabled them to perceive objects simultaneously on all sides, just as they could see inside them and through them.

“11) That they had discovered that spirits could instantaneously take themselves from one place to another–even when they were very far apart–by virtue of an act of will; nevertheless, they could walk in the spiritual environment or float a short distance above the ground.

“12) That they had learned that the spirits of the deceased will fatally and automatically gravitate to the spiritual sphere to which they belong, this by virtue of the ‘law of affinity.’”(1991:88)

Hello From Chicago – Part 4 – A Personal Tour Of The Chicago Cultural Center

Yesterday, after our lovely Austrian breakfast we went downtown to the Chicago Cultural Center, the main downtown information hub for tourists, to ask some questions about the Pullman Historic District, a planned industrial community, built in the 1880s by industrial magnate George Pullman, creator of the famous Pullman sleeper cars. We figured this would be an interesting place to visit since it brings together architecture, social and industrial history, and it would really give us insight into one of the most interesting personalities of Chicago’s history.

To get more information about this neighbourhood we talked to one of the volunteer greeters who staff the Chicago Cultural Center and offer their local expertise to visitors free of charge. The Chicago Greeter program today offers 150 greeters speaking 20 languages and the Greeter program is one of the best ways of getting to know the city through the eyes of a local resident.

As a matter of fact, I had registered electronically for a Chicago Greeter Tour prior to my departure, but something had gone wrong with my registration and as a result I was not assigned a greeter. The good thing is that the City of Chicago also offers “InstaGreeters” – local volunteers / experts who take people on downtown walking tours without the necessity of a prior registration.

This is how we happened upon our very own personal InstaGreeter tour: Chicago Greeter and local expert Don talked to us a bit about the Pullman Historic District, but the more we talked, and the more he saw that we were really interested, he asked us whether we wanted a 20 minute tour of the Chicago Cultural Center. Considering that this is a Chicago landmark we readily agreed.

The Chicago Cultural Center was originally dedicated in 1897 as the city’s original Public Library. It is an impressive limestone-faced building with intricate details, marble staircases, patterned ceilings, beautiful floor mosaics and two impressive stained glass domes. The cupola on the south side of the building is the world’s largest Tiffany stained-glass dome.

Today the Cultural Center houses one of the city’s Visitor Information Centers , various galleries, exhibition and meeting spaces, the Landmark Chicago Gallery which displays photographs from the permanent collection of Chicago landmarks, the 294-seat Claudia Cassidy Theater as well as the Studio Theater and various other facilities. You can even get married inside the Chicago Cultural Center.

Designed in the beaux-arts style by the Boston firm Shepley, Rutan and Coolidge, the Chicago Cultural Center was completed in 1897 and dedicated as the city’s original Chicago Public Library. Completed at a cost of nearly million, this remarkable monument was inspired by the neo-classical style of the World’s Columbian Exposition held in Chicago in 1893.

To start off, Don told us that the name of the city of Chicago is an Indian word for “stinky onion swamp”. He also explained that Chicago is a city of superlatives: 3 of the world’s 10 highest buildings are located here. Chicago is also widely considered to be the birthplace of modern architecture and a living museum of architecture, showcasing some of the world’s most famous architects including Frank Lloyd Wright, Daniel Burnham, Louis Sullivan, Mies van der Rohe and Frank Gehry.

Chicago likes to do everything big. The world’s largest public library is located here: the Harold Washington Library Center houses 2 million books. Chicago is also home to the largest building in the United States (excluding the Pentagon): the Merchandise Mart has 90 acres of floor space, housed in an Art Deco landmark. Buckingham Fountain in Grant Park is one of the world’s largest fountains. Chicago also has the only river in the world that flows backwards. Engineers reversed the Chicago River in 1900 for sanitary purposes. Here’s another interesting fact: Chicago also has the largest Polish population outside of Warsaw.

Our local expert Don took us through the building and showed us the two stained glass domes, the exhibit halls, the photo collection of Chicago landmarks, and to keep going along the line of superlatives, Don gave us a brief synopsis of Millennium Park, located right across Michigan Avenue from the Chicago Cultural Center. The idea for Millennium Park was conceived by famous mayor Richard M. Daley, and with the help of private sector donations Millennium Park has become one of the most impressive outdoor venues anywhere. The project cost 5 million, of which 0 million were financed privately.

Our Chicago Greeter Don, a former vice-president at Motorola, is very knowledgeable about the history of Chicago and very passionate about his city. His pride in his city is obvious, and there is a lot to be proud of. For me, Chicago’s waterfront including Grant Park, the lakefront trail and its beaches are some of the most awesome features of this city. In total Chicago has more than 7300 acres of parkland, 552 parks, 33 beaches, nine museums, two world-class conservatories, 16 historic lagoons, 10 bird and wildlife gardens, and it’s not surprising that Chicago has won numerous awards including “Best City in the World” and other accolades.

With Don’s help we got a great overview of the Cultural Center and a bit of insight into Chicago’s interesting history. It was the perfect preparation for our tour of the Pullman Historic District, an industrial community created by George Pullman, an industrial despot, yet a foresightful social entrepreneur who, according to Don, was universally despised.

Armed with a bit of background knowledge we were looking forward to our exploration of Pullman’s social experiment.

The cause of Shea’s death was attributed to pulmonary fibrosis.

In the 1960s, Mr. Shea pioneered venture investing and offered early stage capital for Hambrecht & Quist, which became a well-known technology investment banking company located in San Francisco. Throughout the following 40 years, Mr. Shea made early investments in hundreds of new businesses, such as Activision, Adobe, Altera Corporation, Brocade, Compaq Computer, Genentech, Affymax, America West Airlines, AES Corporation, and Peet’s Coffee & Tea. Fabrinet, a start-up that Shea helped fund in 2000, successfully completed its initial public offering on the New York Stock Exchange in August 2010.

Taught to be an engineer at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Shea did not fit the typecast of a typical venture capitalist. He invested only his personal and his family’s money and so could be a particularly elastic and tolerant investor. He often explored Silicon Valley solo, lugging a canvas bag packed with documents to meet entrepreneurs one-on-one and question them smoothly about their thoughts and business ideas.

“Although Ed personally directed a very large venture capital investment portfolio, he did it without the usual cadre of MBA underlings,” said William Brody, President of the Salk Institute in La Jolla California, president emeritus of Johns Hopkins University and formerly CEO of Resonex, a venture startup. “He did his own due diligence and formed his own judgments.”

Shea regularly told others that he “invested in people, before technology.” As Bill Hambrecht, co-founder of Hambrecht & Quist stated: “He never ignored the human element in any decision, and was always willing to take a chance on people with character.”

J. F. Shea Construction continued to be among the nation’s leading underground contractors. Its dynamic public works projects include two chief subway ventures in New York City: the addition to the No. 7 line from Times Square to the Javits Center and the Second Avenue subway. In 2009, it completed the last segment of Metropolitan Water District’s Inland Feeder Project, a tunnel all the way through the San Bernardino mountain range.

Back in the late 1960s J. F. Shea started a homebuilding company that adopted the name Shea Homes in 1974. Since its initiation, Shea Homes has constructed and sold upwards of 20,000 houses in California, Arizona, Colorado, Washington, Nevada, and Florida. Builder Magazine in 2008 placed Shea Homes as the biggest for-profit private homebuilder in the country. The Shea family also possesses and manages Shea Properties, which develops, owns, and oversees commercial real estate ventures, such as shopping centers, apartments, and office units in Colorado, Arizona, and California.

Edmund Hill Shea, Jr. was born August 15, 1929 in Portland, Oregon. In his early years, he lived in the San Francisco Bay Area where his father managed the construction project for the piers of the Golden Gate Bridge. In 1935, his family moved back to Los Angeles. He attended Loyola High School, where he graduated in 1947.

After attending the Jesuit Novitiate and then at Santa Clara University, he enrolled in the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, where he graduated with a B.S. degree in Civil Engineering in 1952. He joined the United States Air Force for two years, which included a crash course in electrical engineering. He later gave credit to that opportunity for giving him the knowledge he needed to appreciate the worth of the integrated circuit and other technological innovations that he invested in right around the 1970s.

The Christ, Ratu Adil & Satria Piningit–revealed?! Part 4

Ratu Adil and Satria Piningit

Indonesia long awaits the saviors, Satria Piningit and Ratu Adil to show-up on the political stage to usher-in the Golden Age; and she secretly expects the saviors to “glorify” her before the other nations, just as other groups or some other nations egotistically long for the same thing. We would like to emphasize here that emissaries from God do not appear for the progress of a single group, sect, nation, etc.; the “angels” of God march on behalf of the spiritual unfoldment of humanity and the manifestation of God’s Will on Earth.

In this chapter we will discuss this subject of Ratu Adil and Satria Piningit in greater detail that has only been touched upon previously.

Ratu Adil

Ratu Adil, is the “Queen of Justice ” as translated into English. An improved rendering would be “Goddess of Justice.” The goddess is also called Satrio Wirang by some mystics. Many centuries ago her advent and influence was prophesied by Jayabaya, or those appropriating his name, such as Pangeran Wijil who wrote the book, “Jangka Jayabaya” in 1741.

Ever since the prediction was made there have been speculations as to the probable nature or even identity of the goddess, and also her associate, Satria Piningit. There are those that believe that when the time is ripe Ratu Adil would incarnate and live in the physical world as a human being and establish justice in a chaotic and anarchic world.

R. Ng Ranggawarsita, a poet of the “Kraton Surakarta” once wrote that a king would be born in Mecca with symbolic signs appearing such as the “Tujung Putih, Pudak Sinumpet,” or “White Lotus Flower, Hidden Bud.” The White Lotus Flower supposedly refers to Ratu Adil, whereas the Hidden Bud refers to Satria Piningit.

White lotus flowers have always signified spirituality or divinity to the ancient Egyptians, Hindus, and other cultures. The symbolic signs above could well mean that though she is unveiled, she is yet hidden; or in other words, her influence would be active in the physical world of men but she herself will remain unseen, the reason being that she resides in a different dimension. When mystics mention Mecca, what they are actually referring to is the Kabah, or House of God. In esoteric language, the Kabah symbolizes a high state of consciousness, or a lofty spiritual estate. Considering then, Mecca in conjunction with the other symbols we may reason Ratu Adil to be a divine, spiritual being, a goddess, functioning in a higher world unseen by the physical senses, but active in directing her representatives to work on behalf of Truth, Freedom and Justice.

Some believe that the coming of Ratu Adil simply means that at a future date justice would rule over our hearts and souls, and that our governments would implement Justice and Truth as the voice of their respective nation’s conscience. We concur with this belief; however, it might surprise some people to know that the Goddess of Justice, or Ratu Adil, does actually exist as a personal being and known to some students of esotericism. She is a cosmic entity far more advanced than any “perfect” human being, hence the title of “Goddess.” She is known among the members of the Spiritual Hierarchy and their unascended disciples as “Portia (Por-shia), the Goddess of Justice.”

According to notions here in Indonesia, Ratu Adil is somehow associated with Satria Piningit. Western occultism supports this concept. Ratu Adil and Satria Piningit are actually what is called “Twin-Flames,” or “Twin-Spirits.” To explain briefly what Twin-Souls are according to western occultism: the true identity of man is the Spirit, the divine spark of God within the microcosm. Theosophical students call this the “Monad”. When the main Divine Spark first emerged from the parent-flame, or God, it consisted of two polarities, one masculine and the other feminine. These two polarities later separated into lesser Sparks, or Spirits. Each human being is that evolving Spirit of a certain polarity of one of those billions of Divine Sparks, and each of us has a Twin-Spirit somewhere in the universe. Though most of us are presently separated from our Twin, we will unite with our “alter ego” when we have evolved to a certain stage and fulfilled certain spiritual tasks. Related to the principle of Twin-Flames are the Soul-mate and Karmic-mate concepts; however, they are irrelevant in this paper.

Portia, or Ratu Adil is one of the directors of the Karmic Board, and as such she is known as a “Lord of Karma.” The Karmic Board plays an important role in the evolution of humanity. The Board may be considered as the “higher law,” or God’s channel for executing divine justice, in contradistinction to the justice of mortal man who gleefully say that “justice is blind.”

We quote below from a glossary of the Summit Lighthouse the purpose of the Board of Karma and its members:

“The Lords of Karma dispense justice to this system of worlds, adjudicating karma, mercy, and judgment on behalf of every lifestream. All souls must pass before the Karmic Board before and after each incarnation on earth, receiving their assignment and karmic allotment for each lifetime beforehand and the review of their performance at its conclusion. Through the ‘Keeper of the Scrolls’ and the ‘Recording Angels,’ the Lords of Karma have access to the complete records of every lifestream’s incarnations on earth. They determine who shall embody, as well as when and where. They assign souls to families and communities, measuring out the weights of karma that must be balanced as the ‘jot and tittle’ of the law. The Karmic Board, acting in consonance with the individual I AM Presence and Christ Self, determines when the soul has earned the right to be free from the wheel of karma and the round of rebirth . . .”

There are presently eight members in the Karmic Board, each one representing a Spiritual Ray or power emanating from the spiritual counterpart of the Sun. All of them are lofty cosmic beings. To explain what these Spiritual Rays are is beyond the scope of this work. The Lords of Karma are:

Satria Piningit

As we said before, Christ, Ratu Adil, and Satria Piningit are members of the Spiritual Hierarchy and/or the Karmic Board. Satria Piningit is one of the “Lords of the Flame.” These Lords are called Chohans, meaning “Lord,” or “Master” in Tibetan. There are seven Lords functioning under the direction of the three departments of the spiritual government. Each of the Chohan represents and directs the Christ-Consciousness of a certain Divine Ray emanating from the Spiritual Sun; they also represent the qualities associated with that Ray. They assist the evolution of humanity in that field, or Ray-aspect with which they represent. The Lord of the Seventh Ray is a spiritual entity called Saint Germain; the name is a title, it means, “Holy Brother.” Saint Germain is Satria Piningit, the Knight Commander whose advent was predicted by Jayabaya. Saint Germain and Portia (Satria Piningit and Ratu Adil) are Devapi and Maru as mentioned in the Kalki Purana. “Devapi” literally means “God of Fire,” or in other words, “Lord of the Flame.” Aside from being a Chohan of the Seventh Ray, Saint Germain also holds the title of “God of Freedom.” This is the reason why whenever freedom is called for, the Knight Commander responds. In the past, St.Germain played an important role in the American Revolution.

It is our belief that he was active in the fight for freedom in Indonesia several decades ago as well, and also why his presence may be felt even now by our local “sensitives.” Economy, Organization, and Ceremony come under the direction of the office of the Lord of the Seventh Ray. Satria Piningit is also the great economist; and under his direction monetary and economic crisis may be solved but under certain strict conditions. St.Germain is likewise the “Initiator of Souls” in the science and ritual of transmutation through the violet flame of the Holy Spirit. According to Jayabaya, Satria Piningit will “appear” in an Age to come. Since Jayabaya made this prediction in the Age of Pisces, the “Age to come” refers to the Aquarian Age. It is not known exactly when the Aquarian Age would commence. Some give the date 2002 AD. to be the start of the New Age. The consensus among Indonesian psychics, several years ago, is that Satria Piningit would appear at the end of 1998. If they were referring to a physical presence and a public appearance then they may be mistaken, as so far, to this very day, there is no indication whatsoever to that effect–at least not in Indonesia.

Why was the advent of St.Germain said to be in the coming Age? According to certain sources, aside from being the Lord of the Seventh Ray, St. Germain, alias, Satria Piningit is also the Hierarch or the President-Director for the Aquarian Age. He rules the New Age as Hierarch together with his twin-flame Portia, the Goddess of Justice.

Another reason why the influence of Saint Germain is now growing in world affairs is that because now there is a great influx of the Violet Ray beaming upon our planet. Each of the Seven Rays has its cycle of influence in world affairs. Each cycle may run for centuries. The Violet Ray is now the predominant ray influencing humanity, with Satria Piningit as its Lord. It would be interesting to note that the symbol of St.Germain is the violet Maltese cross.

Knowing that the Knight Commander is the Lord of the Violet Ray it came to no surprise to us when we read in a local paranormal magazine (“Misteri” issue no.220) dealing with the supernatural, concerning Satria Piningit and the Violet Ray, as mentioned by “Eyang Prawiro.” According to Prawiro, the signs of the emergence of Satria Piningit are indicated by hailstorms–and from the South; after the abeyance of the storm, a certain refined violet light like a rainbow will shine upon a hill. And it is there that the one who is in spiritual retreat will be consecrated with the violet light that is called the “spirit of Satria Piningit.”

We would like to state here that there is an esoteric interpretation to the above description. Hills or mountains often symbolize the peak of consciousness while in intense meditation. They do not refer to a physical place. The one meditating may be any individual seeking for enlightenment. Hailstorms symbolizes psychological turmoil. In a spiritual-state during meditation, one may indeed contact the Knight Commander and be empowered by his Violet Ray and come under his spiritual influence should certain basic requirements be fulfilled. The above description, therefore, does not refer to any particular individual at all, but all those who align themselves with the ideals and principles embodied by St.Germain.

From the same source as the above, Eyang Prawiro says that Satria Piningit is not a human spirit. This substantiates our concept that the Knight Commander is a very evolved being, a god–using the term to mean a highly evolved entity that has transcended the human state of being. Below we quote Prawiro:

“Untuk Satrio Piningit, tokoh adil, kharismatik dan superpintar itu, dalam kontemplasi saya adalah roh yang supersuci dan bukan dari manusia, tapi dari roh halus, roh Malaikat pembantu Allah yang dipilih untuk menitis dalam bentuk wujud nyata manusia di dunia dan melakukan tindakan keadilan melawan kejahatan yang merajalela di Bumi.”

(“Regarding the Hidden Knight, a righteous, charismatic, and super-intelligent individual–in my contemplation is a very evolved spirit and not a human being, but a higher dimensional entity, a Guardian Angel of God that has been chosen to incarnate in this world in a human physical form and perform acts of justice against evil that is violently overpowering this world.”)

The “Guardian Angel of God” that Prawiro refers to is in accord with the teachings of western occultism that the Knight Commander is a Lord of the Flame, one of those high entities appointed to rule over a Spiritual Ray; however, it is not known whether Saint Germain actually is embodied, physically speaking. Many occult students believe that he is.

Prawiro also goes on to say that there are many Satria Piningits, and they will all appear to bring peace to the planet wherever and whenever they are needed. It should be evident from what we have revealed thus far, that Saint Germain has his representatives all over the planet, all of them being directed and inspired to work and act on behalf of Freedom, Justice, and Truth. Saint Germain contacts his knights telepathically and spiritually.

Prawiro also believes that one particular representative of Saint Germain will be chosen to be the leader of this nation, and that this said representative is still unknown. This could well be a possibility, but we would like to emphasize that there will be many who will represent the Knight Commander, and not just a single individual. They may not all be politicians.

Regarding the representative of St. Germain, or Indonesia’s future leader, Prawiro says that this individual chosen will be a Muslim, a follower of Islam, and not a devotee of one of the other religions. This may or may not be true, depending upon our perspective. The word Islam means, “surrender,”–surrender to God and to Cosmic law. It is also the surrender of the false ego, that the greater will of God may be implemented. In this sense all those who surrender themselves, no matter what religion they follow, may be considered as devotees of Islam, disregarding the “Syariat” aspect of the religion.

Prawiro goes on to say that the leader will be a man and not a woman. Does this refer to the physical body or to psychological traits? If it refers to psychological traits even entities in female bodies may be considered “male.” In reality, the soul is neither male nor female.

There is also a current belief that Satria Piningit or his representative is a Javanese. We would like to stress here that Saint Germain is not a Javanese, though his representatives are of many races; however, this is irrelevant. It is not the outer form that is important, but the inner quality of the soul. Nevertheless, we may interpret the word “Java-nese” to mean a “man of God.” In the Hebrew language, the Tetragramaton–the four-letter word, represents the name of God. The four letters are “Yod-He-Vau-He.” The real pronunciation of the word is known only to a few. The Tetragramaton is said to possess miraculous powers when enunciated correctly. Scholars and mystics of the past variably pronounce the Divine Name as, Jevo, Jao, Javo, Jave, Javeh, Jehovah, Jehva, Jahu, Yahweh, Java, etc. From this our readers may well understand how we infer “Javanese” to mean “Man of God.” Some may object that the Hebrew and Javanese languages have nothing in common; it should be known, however, that many languages do share a common root.

Many sources claim that St.Germain had many vital incarnations. He was, for instance, embodied as Samuel the Prophet (circa 1100 B.C.); as Joseph, the husband and protector of Mary and their child Jesus; as Proclus, Greek philosopher of the 5th century; as Merlin the Magician; as St.Alban who lived in the 8th century; as Roger Bacon (circa 1214-1294)–English philosopher and experimental scientist; as Christopher Columbus; as Francis Bacon (Shakespeare), Lord Chancellor of England–statesman, essayist, the “father of inductive science”; and as Prince Rakoczy–the Comte de Saint Germain, the “Wonderman of Europe”–he who was referred to by Voltaire in a letter to Frederick II as the “man who never dies.” As a “physical immortal” in that incarnation his worldly activities have been documented for more than a century (1710-1822). He was said to be still alive in the 20th century with many eye-witnesses, one being Charles Leadbeater, an eminent theosophical member.

Saint Germain as Francis Bacon engineered his own mock death and subsequently moved to Rakoczy Mansion in the Carpathian foothills of Translavania where he “ascended.” The Ascension is one of the advanced initiations offered to man; its spiritual level is much higher than Sainthood, or Masterhood.

At the Reformation the Western Church became divided between those who continued to accept Papal authority and the various Protestant churches that repudiated it. The Church of England was among the churches that broke with Rome. The catalyst for this decision was the refusal of the Pope to annul the marriage of Henry VIII and Catherine of Aragon, but underlying this was a Tudor nationalist belief that authority over the English Church properly belonged to the English monarchy. In the reign of Henry’s son Edward VI the Church of England underwent further reformation, driven by the conviction that the theology being developed by the theologians of the Protestant Reformation was more faithful to the teaching of the Bible and the Early Church than the teaching of those who continued to support the Pope.

While the masquerade is overloaded with endless “political” laws and excuses to feed and appease all royals and clericals egos of the old days the real question was the monumental wealth and political influence involved.

So let’s pass all the lies and junk and get straight to the truth. The story is quite clear you allow me to divorce and get a wife that can produce a child for the throne of England or I start my own freaking Church Mr. Pope. I have as much influence as you have and I will prove it to you so you better adapt because you will have to do so for many more centuries to come to stay alive! Ego battle for power and control and the breaching of an established rule from foreign ground this is what the symbol is all about!

Church leaders meeting in York overwhelmingly supported changing canon law to accommodate women as bishops. But the move by the church’s General Synod must be approved at a future meeting of the governing body, after parishes take at least a year to consider the question.

DT Rebuttal: The question in question HAS already been approved because of the financial and survival repercussions! Sure they do not want to jump the gun and awake your suspicions, so time is needed for anything with everything conspirational to be accepted by the moronic mass of lost religious lambs. Do you have a single idea how many women would turn their back to the Church Inc. if their kind was rejected like in the Middle East? Do you have a single idea how much “donations” of the free rides they would miss if women are “discarded” like in the Middle East? Do you have any idea how much GREEN this mean to the Church Inc.?

The first curch of England began ordaining women as priests in 1994 and has been debating whether they should become bishops since 2005. But the issue, along with the debate over the ordination of gay priests, has put a serious strain on the 77-million-member Anglican Communion worldwide.

DT Rebuttal: Ad if you think for a second that “delighted,” Rev. Rachel Weir, leader of the group Women and the Church supported the change, you BET you are right because he is a part of the huge wheel of deception, for the Church Inc. has a well calculated “position” in all positions and the religious legal hyenas know how to “handle” the laws at their advantage. OMG! In what a young stupid world did I land on? Thus if after a year watching the moronic media response, the Church Inc. simply adapt (or make the changes) that at the end will bring more people *more money to their humongous Swiss Private Bank accounts. The exact same masquerade took place with the gays and Gypsy community and now they are a solid part of the Church Inc. unstoppable manipulative money making machine. Again the Gays and Lesbians including the Gypsies were “rejects” of society THEN, and the Churches banned, jailed and burned them but times have changed and if the Church In.c does not find a way (and they always did) to adapt they would have been gone a long time ago. Imagine the figures, support, free rides and donations and what 77 000 000 lost souls means to the Church Inc.?

DT Rebuttal: Never will anyone religiously poisoned enough would consider living the Church Inc, and if they do, with 800 different denominations ALL interrelated financially not a single soul would be lost but “RE-born again somewhere else. God made his children’s UCI totally Unique and some less than perfect… The Church Inc. had to realize that from your local priest all the way up to the Pope himself NO one is perfect especially judging the amount of legal financial disasters the sexual misconducts from the top Church authorities has (and still) has cost the corporation as more and more victims come forward to expose the damages done to them as children.

Forward in Faith, a conservative group that opposes the ordination of women as “contrary to the scriptures,” said Monday’s vote “contains nothing which can satisfy the legitimate needs” of its members.”Now, though, is not the time for precipitate action,” it said. Its leaders will take stock and debate the issue at upcoming meetings in September and October, the group said in a statement on the decision.

DT Rebuttal: In fact ALL manmade “religious scriptures” are contrary to all that Jesus was teaching and what God is all about! They were designed to deceive people from day one for the benefit of a Plutonic greed power angry crowd who used appropriately fears and the human instinct of preservation to build their particular empire.

Smart people built many deceiving faces of God through countless religions and many human are less than smart and this sad fact makes up for their success!

Re introducing Jesus’ vital message to humanity and the real face of and celestial tools of God will never be accepted overnight. It took 2000 years to bring this world to its knees spiritually where despair and the idiocy of humans is witnessed daily though the murdering each others for “God.” The pit of ignorance is as deep as tip if the broken pipe on the muggy floor of the Gulf of Mexico and the black poisoning *oil spill blood gushing from Mother Earth entrails represents the slow and endless damage done to this world’s residents. This is how I perceive the damage done to humankind’s psyche because of religions, but as mentioned on George Noory Coast To Coast radio show to millions “I trust in the human Genius to fix this problem” and it is slowly happening. While FEAR rules, many talking heads came up with the most destructive scenario possible regurgitating their own fears and lack of Cosmic Consciousness.
