Dead Space 2 Review

Space, the final frontier … of terror. Dead Space 2 is a new standard for horror, action and even science fiction series, expands on the original in every way imaginable. From the intense opening sequence, the series protagonist Isaac Clarke, who escape from a mental health facility provides for the arm wound and kept in a straitjacket while avoiding an outbreak of seemingly endless Necromorphs, Dead Space 2 do never disappear. Not a minute. The level of polish and attitude during one of the best in the industry – there are only few games are able to display such maturity and consistency in design, and studios even less development, a position he gets to that level - Visceral Games should be commended for the work they did here.

If you are familiar with Dead Space, go out and buy the first play through it, you have to buy the second and try again. Both games can proudly beside the other, Dead Space 2 shows clearly that only by a little more maturity factor, but to know the family tree, and why you are where you are (and in a straightjacket force, no less), is important is consistency visceral made the universe. And make no mistake, the powers of narrative that will have visceral really happening with their expansion of all things Dead Space traditions.

When Isaac was the only survivor of the plague that occurred on the USG Ishimura, and winner of a hell of an epic boss fight at the end of the first part, the prey does not exceed a heady dose drugs, the straitjacket over many questions unanswered. You literally woke up in a hospital, tied up and moving – the building collapses around you as Necromorphs smashed windows, doors and walls hunger for your members. But unlike the first game in the first moments of the Dead Space 2, you have no weapons and no means to fight for. Even if your hands are finally free to cut your limits is the only tool you have a torch.

The “on-edge” experience in Dead Space 2 is reinforced with the new, and many, many parts, the first game to leave so much space dust. There is also a lot more emphasis on the epic set pieces, the type of material that Nathan Drake is away, completely emasculated. There are many new types of enemies, such as the stalker, which are so devastating, surviving your first meeting with their forgiveness for his own performance, and a larger number of mini-bosses, sub-bosses and, thus, bosses. But this is not only dead ends with sharp you revived in Dead Space 2 fights, there are also companies claim, intellectual and religious fanatics fight Isaac deeply emotional inside.

All this is nice and the rhythm that you are available in all sections in the game, the text and language. There is no CG-buy-ins, nothing more-up-in the delivery department “aesthetic” – from the beginning is almost always under control, and the few moments you’re not, you’ll probably be grateful for your hands would be too busy picking your jaw from the floor anyway.

There is a deeper story here. And you notice I avoided a lot of him, and rightly so. The first game was more of an experiment, a junction of life in this twisted world, while Dead Space 2 is oh so much more. It takes the themes and ideas on the satin of the first game to new heights, as if the team still planned to take this trip – teasing you first before you in his narrative Nexus, a blur of wonder Gross.

On the Ishimura, you find the details of the internal operation of ships along the reports on what happened to you there first. On urban sprawl, things are set in a larger scale – there’s plenty to do in religion Thurs Unitology now consume clear and precise game, Scientology, while the spreading of the building itself with people more deeply into the space business is fleshy Lore of the table. have warned fans of science fiction there, you’ll be tickled pink tickler your inquiry what to keep in its history.

But frightened breathtaking beyond graphics, proceed on the history of the fly, intense epic set pieces, gruesome (and imaginative) opponents with his incredible and piss-your-pants, the game is the battle, and it is really the team selected items up to 11

In the first game, everything was new. The Necromorphs were new, was the game’s style horror and the new voltage and you did not know why. But here’s the team of more awareness Dead Space fans come armed with knowledge, and knowledge is power. And while there are certainly many things here to keep you on your toes, your arsenal is larger, the tactical possibilities in the fingers bigger and everything seems much more concrete and therefore are met.

old weapons with a better return on secondary fire functions (blocking your plasma cutter, is that the baby such as vinyl – it only gets better with age), while new weapons you can use to multitude of enemies will constantly flooded with Deal. The Gun Javelin give, for example, fires a bolt drill Nercomorph and either drop it or send it to fly on the wall until she hung up, like a twisted holiday decoration. However, the Javelin uses a secondary fire function, which is an electrical charge, to more opponents when you do it the right time. You can even create a space on the ground target instead of the soft meat Necromorph and only a simple trap to give you some latitude.

Other familiar again, that you use stasis to slow enemies in their tracks at the moment may or slow to solve the functional elements in the world for a little mystery, and as the first game, you can collect nodes or buy and then upgrade weapons, costumes and articles on the work tables. And this was done through the system have been set for a satisfying experience.

And the point about this game. At no time during the game I changed my recently. There is so much more to see and do. Isaac is an engineer by profession, he has in this whole mess in the first place, but in the first game there was not enough to really explore scenarios or puzzle that is. Dead Space 2, however, and you’ll be hacking terminals, the requisitioning of tools and crawling through vents claustrophobic during the game, a short stop at the breathtaking view of sprawl, the city where you wake up stiff, set on the destruction of the World first human remains low, Titan. In the distance you see the mesmerizing beauty, Saturn and its rings. It is truly breathtaking.
Speaking of which, with Dead Space 2 control it with even more exciting moments in the cold of space, with the new capacity of Isaac in Zero-G to 360 degrees, thanks to his new clothes. There are many puzzles and encounters enemies in those times, and one might expect, physics, inertia and any real science in check. This is something that the team is proud of how you in my interview with the producer, Shereif Fattouh, we will post later learned in the week.

It is the attention to detail, all of which contribute so seamlessly, and if it is not in your face, it is in your device, or in your rear speakers. sense of the city and its incredibly functional components and credible “lived” scary noises in the distance, the drop touches the top disturbing interruption and Echo, Dead Space 2 is upset, it is you fear He and catch you, do to the throat or your legs as you scurry away and eat you. Whole.

Club Volleyball Review For The Circus Volleyball Club

A fun name for a fun club. A mainstay on Chicago’s club volleyball scene, Circus Volleyball club was founded thirty years ago by Dave Boze, who started the the club with one freshman team in 1980. Dave, who was nicknamed “Bozo” gave the new volleyball club its name in reference to its being called “Dave Boze’s Circus.” Circus is the oldest club in the Great Lakes Region and for the 2009-2010 season has six teams. One 18s, four 16s, and one 14s team.

The club’s mission, as stated on its site is “to teach student athletes who value education and wish to play volleyball at a highly competitive level of play. To dedicate, discipline and commit themselves to practice not more than 8 hours weekly. Love for the game with the highest level of competitiveness. To teach the meaning of commitment, team composition and focus on advancement above winning.”

Rich Vrba has been the director of this relatively small club with approximately 200 members for ten years. Despite its size, Circus has a rich history in competing and winning at the AAU National tournaments and competitions, where it garnered four national titles, five silver medals and three times finished third–all within a short time after the club’s birth.

Circus volleyball club coaches are former high school and college volleyball players and coaches who’ve coached at the club anywhere from two to seven years.

A club program that embraced the importance of traveling and international competition beginning in the early 80s, Circus teams have competed overseas in the Virgin Islands, Denmark, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, Stockholm and Copenhagen. In the 90s Circus continued to travel and play domestically in locations that included New Orleans, Miami, Ft. Lauderdale and Key West. To be the best you have to play the best, and so Circus volleyball club players travel to compete currently in some of the largest junior club volleyball tournaments located in Indiana, Michigan, Wisconsin, and Missouri.

The club is based out of Jane Addams Junior High School and boasts a significant number of players who have received college volleyball scholarships. “Since 1980, 110 Circus graduates received college scholarships to over 70 different universities.” A few Circus alumni players include:

Liz Berg – North Carolina

Aetna Health Insurance – An Honest Review

Category : Pharmacy Students

Aetna Health Insurance – An Honest Review

Aetna Health Insurance services are provided by the Aetna Corporation founded in Hartford, Connecticut in the year 1850. The company’s values have been focused on a social scale of medical assistance provisions to aid in the improvement of community health and wellness while providing financial assistance. Like many other insurance companies, this one offers services structured for the medical and health financial assistance needs of individuals, families, employers, and organizations. Their products and services include medical, dental, vision, student health and life insurances, pharmacy plans and services, health expense funds, disability, behavioural and mental health and pet insurances and wellness products.

Despite its popularity amongst the public subscribers of health insurance plans, Aetna Health Insurance has been severely and negatively criticized by so many individuals, all with specific claims and stories to tell, backing up their negative comments. A great number have stated to find that this company is the worst and that they have been taken advantage of by its management and systems. People from various states and locations like Texas, New York, South Carolina, Wisconsin, and many others have made complaints revolving around poor performance of customer service personnel and rejection of medical fees coverage supposedly paid for by the insurance company. An example would be one student’s predicament of having to prove his status as a student over and over again due to inconsistent information provisions made by incompetent customer service personnel. He has provided enough proof that he is studying yet the company continually denies being duly informed by the client. Another would be successive prescription rejections, leading the customer to being burdened with bills to pay and having to be passed around to various customer service assistance providers who negate and contradict each other’s claims.

A wider diversity of complaints nature can be found in viewing surveys conducted to measure the public’s ratings about Aetna Health Insurance services. It has been found that 69% of the survey population has claimed that they are very unsatisfied with the service provided by this company, while only 8% are happy about the results of their subscriptions.

For the positive side of this company’s service providing, Aetna Health Insurance paper work has been known for its simplicity and fast processing. This means less time is needed for availing of health insurance services and products, thus saving more money. This comment, though, may only be found in articles online. The official website of the company does not provide visitors and potential customers views on testimonials and actual comments and feedback from the public. One may only post a comment to be sent to the company management.

To sum things up, the most common complaint about the Aetna Health Insurance company is about its very limited financial coverage for medical assistance and health services. The minor partition of total complaint percentages belongs to the inefficiency of the company’s customer service. Some have advised checking out the list of doctors and the range of coverage that this company financially supports before availing of specific plans in order to make your plans work to your personal advantage.

USC Film School – A Review

Category : Region V

USC Film School – A Review

I attended the undergraduate film program at The University Of Southern California and then proceeded with my film education at New York University where I graduated with a BFA.  During my time at USC I attended numerous classes and worked on several productions of friends that were in the program.  In this short essay I’ll try and give an overview of what I view as the strengths and weaknesses of the program as I see them.

The Location

The USC School of Cinematic Arts is located on the main campus of the University of Southern California which is located just south of downtown Los Angeles in an area bordering what is considered southwest LA.  For those unfamiliar with Los Angeles and USC, the school consists of a well maintained and manicured campus that is enclosed as an ‘oasis’ from the surrounding areas of east LA which are not nearly as nice.

Traditionally, the west side of Los Angeles is what people think of when they think of the beaches and nicer suburban areas as well as Hollywood and Beverly Hills which are just east of the ocean communities but west of USC.  While those living on campus enjoy a nice environment, it is generally accepted that venturing too far away from the main campus is not the best experience with many if not most students choosing to leave during the weekends as the school does have a strong commuter element to it.

The Curriculum

The USC Undergraduate Cinema Program is structured in three tiers, the 200, 300, and 400 level with each tier of courses increasing in complexity and generally relying on the successful completion of those levels below.  While you have a choice between several options depending on your area of interest there are some required classes including the ‘core’ classes of Cinema 310, generally taken in junior year and Cinema 480, generally taken senior year.

Cinema 310 and 480 are the core production classes of the program where students are put into either teams or crews and produce their larger productions.  While Cinema 310 consisted of non-synced sound and 480 was a larger more sync-sound production, things have evolved over the years.  Both courses have a ‘screening’ in a sort of festival at the end of the semester where students show their films to each other and family and friends are invited to view them.  The very best of these can often be used as portfolio pieces to gain representation although usually they are not of the quality or length of the graduate level films.

The facilities of the school of Cinema/Television at USC are outstanding.  George Lucas, one of the school’s notable alumni, has made numerous substantial donations to the school and recently donated 5 million to build a large expansion of the school.  In addition, Steven Spielberg and others have donated money for facilities.  The current school is built like a small studio with notable buildings including The George Lucas Instructional Building, The Steven Spielberg Music Scoring Stage and The Marcia Lucas Post-Production Building.

The Professors

USC has a very good and dedicated staff of professors consisting of both full-time as well as adjunct faculty.  Most professors have an extensive history of working in the feature film and television industries with several having been nominated for Oscars and Emmys.  In the past, the school has had numerous famous faculty including Irving Thalberg, Alfred Hitchcock, D.W. Griffith and Darryll Zanuck.

After Graduation

USC has a very powerful and large alumni network with numerous alum working in virtually every area of Film and Television Production. Only NYU is comparable in numbers and quality of alumni in the industry.  Smart students utilize this resource to gain informational interviews and internships to ease the transition into the work world after graduation.

Internships are available through the school at virtually ever studio and numerous post production companies as well as agencies and other areas.  Internships are a great way not only to make connections but to ‘explore’ different areas of the industry before deciding on a career path.  For more great information about film school please visit www.USCfilmschool.com.

Book Review: Paris, Moi and the Gang: a Memoir of Sorts by Frances Gendlin

Book Review: Paris, Moi and the Gang: a Memoir of Sorts by Frances Gendlin

Paris, Moi and the Gang: A Memoir…of Sorts
Frances Gendlin

978-0982369807
Summertime Publications, Incorporated (January 20, 2010)

Paris, Moi and the Gang is part faux memoir, part travel guide, and part romance novel and is absolutely entertaining. Frances Gendlin is a veteran travel author; she writes with a friendly, conversational style that will quickly have you feeling like you and she are old friends.

The story is told from protagonist Frances’ point-of-view as she researches and writes her latest Paris guide. Paris, Moi and the Gang follows an eclectic group of friends affectionately known as the Gang. This group of American Expatriates truly cares about and supports each other through the successes and failures of daily life in “the city of light.” The gang’s number grows and shrinks as members travel abroad or return from stints in the US. There’s Caroline, the historian, who is researching the history of famous Americans who lived in Paris for her own book; and Sandra, the divorced pianist, and a connoisseur of everything Parisienne from the shopping to the men. Men are not left out of this club and we meet the recent widower, wine aficionado and master of high finance, Richard. Paul and Klaus are the self-professed Oldest Queens in Paris. “The boys” have an endearing uncles-niece type relationship with Frances and are never far when needed for advice on men, failed relationships, and the best spots to lunch. The chain-smoking Alice and her husband, the crusty Findlay, who have called Paris home for over 60 years, round out the circle.

Life in Paris appears simple enough; write a little, greet friends with a warm kiss, sit down for great food, wine and conversation at a wonderful locale. However, as Frances often remarks, “everything in Paris is an event.” Gendlin shows how seemingly simple tasks like sorting out a cell phone glitch or having new house keys cut become a prolonged adventure sure to test even the most reserved temper, as customer service is non-existent. This is where the guide portion of the book shines as Gendlin gives helpful hints for dealing with cashiers, repairmen, and shop owners in procedures differing from that in the States. Throughout the book are sidebars containing a wealth of useful hints, history, and advice. From the best cheese, bread, and wine, to a unique recipe for scrambled eggs with truffles, to a full restaurant guide and a helpful look at accents.

Frances has an appreciation for living in Paris and a romance, so to speak, with the city, not that she doesn’t see her fair share of attention from men. She picks her male “projects” and then goes with the flow as events unfold as they may, much like she does everyday.

From this book, I take away a belief that visiting Paris for a few weeks of vacation is like taking a single sip of a fine wine; you get a nice taste but not the full experience. Whether Paris, Moi and the Gang is fiction or memoir, it is an exceptional book with characters and scenery so well written and described that you are captivated from the first chapter and your interest is held until the final pages. Anyone contemplating a move to life in Paris must read this book. Think of it as a test-drive! This book is easy to enjoy; if you add it to your summer reading list, it won’t disappoint.

Highly Recommend by William Potter for Reader’s Choice Book Reviews

Frances Gendlin brings to this new book her experiences as a successful writer of travel guides. Formerly, she held leadership positions in American publishing, as Editor of Sierra Magazine and Executive Director of the Association of American University Presses. Also directing her own editorial consulting business, The Right Word, she taught writing to foreign businessmen and helped writers with their works-in-progress. Since then, indulging her love for travel and adventure, she has written multiple guidebooks to Rome, Paris, and San Francisco. For the last decade, Fran Gendlin has lived in Paris, delving ever deeper into the French culture, enjoying the French-American expatriate way of life, and being a member of the international literary community.

A Review Of Attorney Gary P. Price And Lewis & Kappes Law Firm

Talk about ‘property’ and the first connection you are likely to make is ‘real estate,’ such as a house, a farmland, or a commercial building, that you can actually touch, feel, and live in. An intellectual property (IP) refers to something entirely different. Any idea that takes on a form and later finds expressions as a film, a book, a TV show, a game, or anything else that people play, watch, read, and recognize can be classified as IP. Trademarks, copyrights, trade secrets, patents, literature, music, and art are all intellectual properties. To put it simply, IP is a creation of imagination over which a corporation or an individual enjoys legal monopoly. Incidentally, the term ‘intellectual property’ is also used to refer to those laws protecting such monopolies. These laws have been designed to uphold the rights of the owner of an IP. Cases related to violation of these laws can be quite complicated. For this reason, it is important to hire an experienced legal professional. This article reviews attorney Gary P.
